The short version: what you make in Contora is yours. Sell it, print it, give it away. No royalties and no permission needed.
What this licence covers
Everything you export from the Designer: STL files, saved .vase design files, clay renders and scene prompts from the AI Render Kit. We call these your outputs.
What you can do
You can use your outputs for any lawful purpose, personal or commercial, anywhere in the world, forever. That includes:
- printing the vases for yourself, as gifts or to sell;
- selling the STL files as digital downloads, on Etsy or anywhere else;
- using clay renders, prompts and the images you make from them in listings, marketing and your portfolio;
- changing your outputs in other software.
You do not have to credit Contora, although we are always glad when you do. These rights stay with you after your subscription ends.
Presets and dice rolls
You can sell designs you start from a preset or a dice roll, too. Because every user shares the same presets and dice, someone else may arrive at a similar design. We do not promise that a design is unique to you, and we will not make any claim against you for selling it.
Images from AI tools
When you feed a clay render and prompt into an AI image tool, the image that comes back is created by that tool. Your rights in it depend on that tool’s own terms, so check them.
What stays ours
The Designer itself, its code, its built-in profiles as part of the tool, and the Contora name and logo stay ours. You can sell what you make with Contora, but not Contora itself.
Your responsibility
If you import your own SVG profiles or combine outputs with other material, make sure you have the right to use it.
